Friendly and welcoming with great positive atmosphere. Clean rustic surroundings. A good selection of well kept beers and ciders. Locally sourced sausage rolls, scotch eggs and pies are excellent. Outdoor seating space on decking. Clitheroe is a good location to amble around.

Great beer, great bar snacks (pies, scoth eggs etc). Hand for Clitheroe station, so a great start and end point for a visit to this rather nice market town.

Absolute gem of a gaff! I had a few hours to spare today and went to Clitheroe for the afternoon. Stopped in here and asked for the most random drink they had to offer.... Got offered a couple of samples of their guests ales etc. And settled for a Blueberry Sour..... Amazing! Quirky little gaff. Fairly priced. Knowledgeable staff! Will definitely visit again

A great selection of cask and craft keg and so handy for the railway station; the quality bar snacks look amazing and are great value. Plenty of space in the beer garden at the back. A Verified Venue on the Untappd App and a worthy entry in the 2025 Good Beer Guide.

Lovely little place. Great seating, the upstairs has a great tavern vibe and a great selection of beers and snacks as you'd expect

Had a few pints of their stout, it was bloody lovely. Just what I needed after a good walk. Very friendly staff and a good atmosphere.
